Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. has been downgraded to out with a foot injury for the team’s Sunday road game against the Patriots in New England. Pittman was listed as questionable on Wednesday after a limited practice, but his status changed when he did not practice Thursday or Friday. According to the Steelers’ depth chart, Germie Bernard will step into the role of Pittman. The absence should also present more targets for DK Metcalf. Against the Atlanta Falcons last week, Pittman caught 3 passes for 58 yards in his Steelers home debut.

He was traded to the Steelers after Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce resigned with the team for $29 million per season.
