Kyran Thompson has now signed for Newcastle United
The exciting teenage winger deciding to move from Arsenal to Tyneside. Kyran Thompson posting a message on his personal social media: “Thank you for everything Arsenal.”
Then following that with an image posted on his social media showing him signing for Newcastle United. The 16-year-old played a lot for Arsenal U18s last season while he was still a schoolboy, he was also involved at U21 and U19 levels. Capable of playing as a winger or a forward, the England youth international was offered a scholarship and subsequent professional contract by Arsenal but has chosen to join Newcastle United instead. Kyran Thompson left West Ham to join Arsenal in 2024. An England U17 international, the Arsenal starlet scored four goals and registered three assists across 33 appearances last season for the Gunners below first team level. Kyran Thompson turns 17 in early September and sees his best position on the right wing, rather than more centrally.
The teenager’s dad recently posted this on social media about his son: “Future is so bright and we can’t wait for him to get started and play in the position he’s best at, RW.”
