Hero MotoCorp sells 5.33 lakh vehicles in July as domestic dispatches rise 19%

Hero MotoCorp reported a 19% year-on-year rise in July 2026 dispatches to 5.33 lakh units, driven by domestic demand, while exports fell despite the company’s expansion into Germany and Ecuador. Hero MotoCorp reported total dispatches of 533,416 motorcycles and scooters in July 2026, up 19% from 449,755 units a year earlier. Motorcycle dispatches rose to 468,565 units from 400,615 units, while scooter dispatches increased to 64,851 units from 49,140 units. Domestic dispatches increased to 501,403 units from 412,397 units a year earlier. Its internal combustion engine (ICE) business recorded 478,689 dispatches, up from 401,171 units, supported by retail demand for the Splendor, Passion, Glamour X, Super Splendor XTEC 2.0, Destini and Xoom. Hero MotoCorp also launched its “Hero Ka Scooter, Scooter Ka Hero” campaign for the Destini scooter during the month. Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility business, VIDA, dispatched 22,714 units in July.

It also entered Nepal, unveiled its refreshed “VOOM” brand identity and launched a new 4.4 kWh variant. Exports declined to 32,013 units from 37,358 units a year earlier. However, the company expanded into Ecuador and Germany, with Germany becoming Hero MotoCorp’s 53rd international market. Hero MotoCorp also laid the foundation stone for its second Global Parts Centre in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

The facility will support domestic and export spare parts logistics and back capacity expansion at its Tirupati plant, where its entire EV portfolio is engineered and manufactured. For the financial year to date, Hero MotoCorp dispatched 2,210,729 vehicles, up from 1,816,825 units a year earlier. It dispatched 1,952,820 motorcycles and 257,909 scooters, while domestic dispatches stood at 2,073,510 units and exports at 137,219 units.
