The NBA 2K truck visited Duke University to scan basketball players for a new feature. These player scans will be included in a college basketball mode within NBA 2K27 video game. Duke was one of 16 schools featured in the previous edition, NBA 2K26. Current Duke basketball players enjoyed a unique experience earlier this week, as the NBA 2K truck came to campus. While there, NBA 2K took scanned Duke players for a new college basketball feature within their video game (NBA 2K27).
Duke University was one of 16 schools to appear in NBA 2K26. Unfortunately for college basketball fans, the scan will not be for an exclusive college basketball video game but rather a feature inside NBA 2K. Although 2K studios haven’t made a college basketball game since College Hoops 2K8, EA Sports recently had success bringing back their college football series. In the past, two former Blue Devils were seen on the cover of 2K College Hoops, Jay Williams on the 2K3 edition and JJ Redick on the 2K7 release. Either way, the 2K truck offers students an unforgettable experience while at Duke and gives current Blue Devils players a chance to make it in a world-famous video game.
