Vadivelu is loved by the Tamil audiences to such an extent that there is no day that passes without his dialogues being spoken or without watching his comedy scenes on television or YouTube. Due to the ‘Imsai Arasan 24 aam Pulikesi’ controversy the ace comedian has been out of the limelight for the past several years.
Vadivelu however became the talk of the Town after his Naesamani character in the Vijay-Suriya starrer ‘Friends’ went viral worldwide after an individual posted it on Twitter. The celebrated star in his most recent interview has spoken disrespectfully of director Chimbu Devan stating that he did not know how to script and direct ‘Imsai Arasan 23 aam Pulikesi’ and Vadivelu himself did most of the work to make it a super hit.
‘Moodar Koodam’ Naveen who worked as an assistant director in the film has slammed Vadivelu stating that he has lied about Chimbu Devan who is a director with a command over his craft. Naveen questioned Vadivelu that if it was he who scripted the film then why all his other big budget hero vehicles flopped miserably till date. He also strongly condemned Vadivelu’s digs at director Shankar and asserted that the comedian should be grateful to both for giving him such a memorable film.
