Trapani are back in Serie B after winning the promotion play-offs against Piacenza.
The Sicilians drew 0-0 in the first leg at the Stadio Garilli, then won the home fixture 2-0 tonight with M’Bala Nzola and Anthony Taugourdeau goals.
They are promoted into Serie B for the 2019-19 season, joined by Virtus Entella, Pisa, Juve Stabia and Pordenone.
It’s a remarkable achievement, considering Trapani players haven’t been paid for months and sued the club for financial mismanagement.
