The Tennessee Titans (0-3) once again had a chance to secure their first win of 2026, but fell 12-7 to the New York Giants in Week 3 action. This week, they’ll be on the road again, traveling to Baltimore to face the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens will be traveling back from Rio de Janeiro after their international matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. They will be riding high after getting a victory in the first game in Rio. This will be a tough matchup, and the Titans have a lot of issues they must address this week; how they bounce back from another disappointing loss will be on full display. Week 4 is just four days away, so let’s take the pulse of the Titans around the NFL. Come on Cam… Second-year quarterback Cam Ward continued his uneven season. After erratic throws to open receivers and questionable decision-making, the noise outside the organization about whether he will develop into a successful franchise quarterback is growing louder. One thing is certain: the Titans had a chance to pull out a win, and Ward failed to deliver.
Jeffery Simmons is about to have a career year Simmons was again dominant, finishing with 10 tackles and a sack, but his overall impact cannot be measured by the stat sheet alone. Tennessee moved Simmons up and down the defensive line, and he was a matchup nightmare wherever he played. The offensive line depth will be challenged The Titans’ offensive line took a hit during the game when Fernando Carmona went out and could be taking another, as his backup, Jackson Slater, injured his foot during the contest. Reports indicate that Carmona will miss a few weeks with an ankle sprain, but no word has been given about Slater. The Titans lack line depth, and this could raise significant questions over the next few weeks. Is it time to turn to Mitch? With Cam Ward struggling, some rumblings about turning to backup Mitch Trubisky are starting to pop up on social media.
While head coach Robert Saleh has downplayed that option, if Ward continues to struggle with consistency, the staff may need to revisit it. Is Daboll awake in the first half? In three games, the Titans’ offense has struggled in every half until after the break, when they come out and start to come to life. This happened again against the Giants, and the trend has become extremely noticeable. While it’s a positive that they made adjustments at halftime, it still needs to change moving forward.
