Michigan State football will continue its “Stripe the Stadium” tradition for the season opener against Toledo. Fans in even-numbered sections are asked to wear green, while those in odd-numbered sections and the student section should wear white. The game is scheduled for Friday night with an 8 p.m. ET kickoff. Viewers at home can watch the game on FS1. An annual season-opener tradition will return this week so here’s what you need to wear if you’ll be in attendance for Michigan State-Toledo on Friday night. This has became a tradition over the years, going hand-in-hand with the Spartans’ first game being played on Friday night. So if you’ll be in attendance on Friday, what color are you supposed to wear? Well, it’s pretty easy as it’s the same as last year (and I believe previous years before that too). Even sections will wear green and odd sections plus the student section will wear white.
