Sport Mediaset is reporting Fenerbahce midfielder Eljif Elmas will undergo a medical with Napoli by Wednesday.
The deal accelerated on Tuesday, with several outlets in agreement that Napoli had agreed to sign Elmas for €15m plus bonuses.
Sport Mediaset has now gone further, claiming the 19-year-old is certain to be a Partenopei player next season and that he will have medical tests ‘between today and tomorrow’.
He should replace Amadou Diawara, who joined Roma in exchange for Kostas Manolas, while fellow midfielder Marko Rog seems destined for the exit door.
