Retirement is not always easy for players once they leave the NFL. The structure the schedule gives them, taking care of their bodies to play, all adds up to bring things balanced for them. To help achieve that balance once again. Some players will find outside ventures to dive into, such as business, coaching, or even ownership in some cases. In the case of former Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, it includes some of those things, but he may be adding another to the list.
TMZ Sports reported on Monday that the former Super Bowl-winning quarterback is in talks with the WWE to perhaps make an appearance to further his feud with wrestler and social media star Logan Paul. They first had a run-in with each other when Brady appeared on Paul’s podcast a few months ago. From there, things reached a tipping point when Brady slapped Paul this past weekend at Fanatics Fest. Paul has made a successful move into the pro wrestling realm, but Brady, at his age and athleticism, may be a bit of a stretch. The WWE has a big event coming up next month called Summerslam, which is being held at U.S.
Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, so they have a lot of tickets to sell. Bringing in someone like Brady would certainly move the needle.
