Continued strong performances could earn him playing time this fall amid uncertainty at the wide receiver position. At this rate, we are going to look back at Notre Dame football’s 2026 recruiting class as one of the best ever brought in. It seems one of them is making a big play during every fall camp practice. On Monday, it was freshman wide receiver Bubba Frazier’s turn.
For the most part, many of these highlights have been against young players, but the Georgia native did it against senior nickel cornerback Christian Gray, who is viewed as one of the best at his position nationally. This is exactly what the coaching staff envisioned when recruiting him: a receiver that can take a short pass and make it into a big play. Frazier was a four-star prospect on the 247Sports composite coming out of high school, but he has watched Devin Fitzgerald, Ian Premer, Teddy Jarrard and Ja’Kobe Clapper get love on social media and from the coaches. With some uncertainty at wide receiver for Notre Dame, there are reps for Frazier if he continues to prove he can play at this level. More plays like Monday’s will go a long way for him to see the field this fall.
