Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant will practice Sunday, a development that could improve his chances of playing in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Durant, who has been sidelined for a month with a calf strain, could scrimmage Sunday with some of the Warriors’ younger players, according to coach Steve Kerr.
Kerr would not rule out Durant for Game 5 on Monday night in Toronto. The Warriors are facing a 3-1 series deficit against the Raptors.
Kerr said the Warriors are hopeful that Durant will emerge healthy from Sunday’s workout and be cleared to play Monday night.
