Scottie Scheffler remains the top-ranked golfer in the world as of September 22, 2026. Jacob Bridgeman jumped nine spots to No. 20 after winning the Biltmore Championship. J.J. Spaun moved up five positions to No. 12 in the latest rankings. Adam Scott has re-entered the top 50, moving from No.
52 to No. 45. The Official World Golf Ranking has been updated for the week of September 22, 2026, and although there wasn’t much movement, a few names did jump up in the top 50. J.J. Spaun moved up five spots to No.
12, while Jacob Bridgeman, who won the Biltmore Championship Asheville, went from No. 29 to No. 20. Adam Scott, who had fallen out of the top 50, went from No. 52 to No. 45. The OWGR system is calculated by awarding points from eligible tours and events to participating players over a rolling two-year period.
Players are ranked weekly based on the amount of points they earn divided by the number of events they played in to reach an average total.
