Hunter Henry was a key piece of the New England Patriots’ offense last season. Henry finished the 2025 campaign with 60 catches for 768 yards and seven touchdowns, which amounted to his most productive season in the NFL.
However, we aren’t seeing an impact from him early on in the Week 1 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Here’s what’s going on. Is Hunter Henry playing tonight? UPDATE: Henry is finally on the board with his first catch in the second quarter. The reception went for three yards.

UPDATE: We have a tight end touchdown… but it wasn’t Henry and instead rookie Eli Raridon scored. Exactly who we all expected to score the season’s first TD. As for Henry, he is blanked through three drives. No catches, no targets. END OF UPDATE

Yes, Henry is active and healthy, he just hasn’t been targeted yet. A major issue is Drake Maye has only thrown three passes through two drives with the Patriots going run heavy.
