Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk ended their four year relationship last week.
This made everyone who saw “A Star Is Born” lose their minds and go into “Lady Gaga is getting together with Bradley Cooper” crisis mode.
So, while the general public was like this:
Right after her win, Gaga gave an interview a with Jimmy Kimmel and gave a full rundown explaining her and Bradley’s relationship.
She said: “First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the Internet. What it has done to pop culture is abysmal.
“People saw love, and guess what, that’s what we wanted you to see.”
“This is a love song, ‘Shallow.” The movie, ‘A Star Is Born,’ it’s a love story. We worked so hard. We worked all week on that performance.”
“From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time. Look, I’ve had my arms wrapped around Tony Bennett for three years touring the world. When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.”
So, there you have it.
Social media is shit. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are not in love. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are (probably, I mean, I can’t say NEVER) not going to get together. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were DOING THEIR JOB. And just to say it again, social media is shit.
The end.
