The regeneration will also deliver a new urban park, reopening a site that has been largely inaccessible for more than 20 years while retaining key elements of its industrial heritage. Residents will have access to shared facilities including a gym, co-working space, lounge and private cinema.

Capital&Centric joint managing director John Moffat said: “Planning approval is a huge milestone for Cannon Brewery and another big moment for Neepsend.”
