It’s the final day of Glastonbury 2019, with temperatures expected to be noticeably cooler than Saturday (29 June) – to the relief of any goths looking forward to The Cure‘s headline set.
Yesterday revellers caught sets from artists including Hot Chip, Liam Gallagher, Janet Jackson, Hozier, Lizzo, Lewis Capaldi and The Killers, who headlined the Pyramid Stage and brought out special guests the Pet Shop Boys and Johnny Marr.
Today fans at Worthy Farm and anyone watching from home will be able to see performances by Miley Cyrus, Babymetal, Loyle Carner, Dave, Mavis Staples, Years & Years, Kylie Minogue, Vampire Weekend, and The Cure.

Thoughts on Billie Eilish. I think she’s handling Glastonbury well – it’s staggering to think she’s still just 17 years old – and her material sounds far better live than it did on her debut album, When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Here’s my review of the record:
In 15 minutes you’ve got Vampire Weekend on the Pyramid Stage, followed by a set from Dave at 8.15 on the Other Stage (maybe he’ll bring Stormzy back out?) and then headliners The Cure for an epic two hour headline set from 9.30!

Robert Plant from The Cure has done an interview with Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2 where he revealed that he had a strange first meeting with The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers:
JW: Brandon Flowers is the one person who is the most passionate about The Cure. Have you met him, have you done stuff together?
RS: Yeah I’ve met him a few times, yeah. The very first time I met him, he didn’t introduce himself, he just he thrust a bottle of very expensive tequila into my hands and ran off. I was like ‘Who was that?’. Since then I have had a conversation with him and he’s a lovely lovely man. They’re just masters at getting a crowd going.

Huge crowds over on the Other Stage now for Billie Eilish’s set.
That really was incredible. One of the highlights of the festival? I think so. Bringing Lil Nas and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus out was a masterstroke – “Old Town Road” is the song of the summer.
Well that was QUITE the set.
