    Isabelle Westbury

Former Middlesex captain on BBC Test Match Special

You’d back England to have another dominant win today.

  2. Worcester – a ground for celebration?

With England batting first, if they get off to a flier, it’ll be difficult not to think of the Pakistan series in 2016.

After a convincing home win at Leicester in the first ODI, the teams moved on to Worcester (as they’ve done today) – and made 378-5 which remains their highest ODI total.

West Indies will hope they’ve got the horror show out of the way.

Here was a particularly horrible moment from Thursday as an awful misfield allowed Heather Knight her 50…

West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor: “We want to focus on improving what didn’t go well on Thursday and we’ve got to start holding players accountable for their performances.”

Former Middlesex captain on BBC Test Match Special

England looked absolutely dominant in the first game. You felt like they were still a bit disappointed though, despite the fact that they won by 208 runs. They had a middle-order wobble, two batsmen got out in the 90s and they dropped a few catches.

100 ODI caps for Laura Marsh

It’s a landmark moment for Laura Marsh, who plays her 100th ODI today.

Having debuted back in the summer of 2006, the Kent off-spinner joins Jenny Gunn (143), Sarah Taylor (122) and Katherine Brunt (117) as centurions in the current squad – plus the retired England greats Charlotte Edwards (191), Lydia Greenway (126), Claire Taylor (126), Jane Smit (109) and Clare Taylor (105).

  10. England unchanged

England are unchanged from Leicester – so, stand by your beds, appearance landmark klaxon…

  11. Super England go ballistic, Windies fielding atrocious?

Not quite an exact summary of game one – but not a completely unfair one.

On Thursday in Leicester, England racked up a record ODI win over West Indies, after winning the toss and posting 318-9, with Amy Jones (91) and Heather Knight (94) just missing out on three figures.

The Windies fielding was, in the words of their captain Stafanie Taylor, “atrocious” – gifting England plenty of extra runs – and their batting wasn’t much better as England bowled them out for 110 in 36 overs.

England have won the toss. Again.

    They’ll bat. Again.

  14. Post update

The teams have made a relatively short hop across the Midlands from Leicester to Worcester – and while New Road has traditionally been prone to flooding at times of heavy rain, we shouldn’t have any worries today with sunny intervals forecast.
