Roma forward Stephan El Shaarawy is on the verge of a transfer worth €18m including bonuses to Shanghai Shenhua, claim reports.
The negotiations had hit problems over the last few days, but seem to have taken a positive turn.
According to Sky Sport Italia, La Repubblica and more this evening, El Shaarawy is very close to completing the move to China.
The player would sign a three-year contract worth €15-16m per season, while Roma are set to pocket €18m including bonuses.
It’s also reported that Shanghai Shenhua had turned to Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado instead, but he rejected the move.
