When news broke that not a single former Wisconsin Badgers player would be making a 53-man roster, the next logical step was to see these players named to practice squads. Thankfully for Badgers fans, they still have a ton of former players who have a chance to make an impact in the NFL this season.
The most noteworthy name on this list is Mason Reiger, someone who was surprisingly waived by the Miami Dolphins due to injury. Now, Reiger has a new home with the Philadelphia Phillies. Both the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams have a pair of former Badgers on their practice squad, so those two teams could have big contributions from former UW players in 2026 and beyond.
