Parma boss Roberto D’Aversa has officially extended his contract with the club until 2022.
D’Aversa guided Parma to safety on their return to Serie A last season, and the Coach is ready to build on that achievement.
“Before going on holiday for the summer, the club and I were in agreement to continue a journey that I hope will give us more satisfactions, like the past ones,” he told the Gialloblu’s official website.
“Today’s signature was a formality. We start again eager after a season where we have managed to stay up.
“That must make us proud but not satisfied. We want to consolidate ourselves and try to improve.”
The 43-year-old has been in charge of the Ducali since December 2016, overseeing back-to-back promotions from Serie C.
