After suffering a heartbreaking last-second finish, the Dallas Cowboys are back in the building. Down only 1-2 on the season, it feels a lot worse. Taking on the Houston Texans with less than full strength is less than ideal.

After today, here is the latest we know about the status of the Cowboys and Texans. The Cowboys are banged up and have a long list of injuries to start the week. Shavon Revel Jr. (knee) did not practice today. Having left last week’s game, Revel did not suffer any significant injury, which makes it unclear if he’ll play this week. However, if he practices in a limited capacity tomorrow or Friday, it would be an encouraging sign. Cobie Durant did not practice, as he is dealing with a hamstring injury.

He is not expected to play this week. Malik Hooker (forearm) was limited today and is aiming for a possible return this week. DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring) was listed as a DNP. For Houston, their top WR Nico Collins (knee) was limited at practice today. There is optimism that he will be able to return this week against Dallas, elevating their offense and possibly giving fits to a depleted Dallas secondary.

Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was unable to practice with a groin injury.
