Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice spoke with reporters after the Week 3 victory over the Miami Dolphins. He opened up about his health after an offseason knee procedure slowed him at training camp. “I feel a lot different. I feel a lot more confident,” said Rice.

“I continue to strengthen my legs, knowing that these legs are going to get me through the whole season, as well as just being able to be confident knowing that the ball’s going to come to me on certain plays. Even if the play is not being called for me, I know that I have a possibility of getting the ball. And I just kind of feel a lot more conditioned mentally and just being able to continue to run throughout the game.”

Rice led all pass catchers with seven receptions for 88 yards in Sunday’s game.

Since he entered the league in 2023, Rice has recorded eight games with at least seven receptions and 80+ receiving yards, tied for the most of any Chiefs player in that span. Eight different receivers caught a pass in Week 3, the most for the Chiefs this season.
