Cagliari have announced that defender Luca Ceppitelli has extended his contract with the club until 2021.
The Sardinians released an official statement on Monday, announcing the centre-back had prolonged his contract by a further year.
The 29-year-old was made captain in January and has been with the Isolani since arriving from Parma in 2014 for just €1.5m.
He has scored seven goals in 126 appearances during his stay on the island but managed just 24 starts last season due to injury and suspension.
