Bologna are in talks to sign Ivorian striker Christian Kouame from Serie A rivals Genoa.
Sky Sport Italia reports negotiations to take Kouame to Bologna are in ‘full swing’.
The broadcaster explains Bologna’s bid of €12m is lower than Genoa’s asking price of €15-16m but that the so-called ‘white smoke’ could arrive in a matter of hours.
The 21-year-old only joined the Grifone last summer and initially struck up an eye-catching partnership with Krzysztof Piatek in their attack, scoring three goals and providing four assists by early December.
However, Piatek’s move to Milan in January saw him find the back of the net just once more before the end of the season.
