CHICAGO — It came with a bit of trepidation, but the UFC’s two title fights this weekend are official.

Jessica Eye, the women’s flyweight challenger, weighed in on the mark at 125 pounds with less than 30 minutes left in the two-hour weigh-in window Friday morning here at the Crowne Plaza. Her UFC 238 opponent, champion Valentina Shevchenko, came in earlier in the morning on point at 124 pounds.

Eye needed to disrobe and use a toweled hoop to weigh in, but she came in right at the 125-pound maximum.

The main-event fighters, who are competing for the vacant bantamweight title, made it look easy. Henry Cejudo, the UFC flyweight champion who is moving up in weight, hit 134 pounds. Marlon Moraes also weighed in at 134. The bantamweight title was vacated earlier this year by T.J. Dillashaw because of a failed drug test.

UFC 238 is set for Saturday night at United Center.

Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone will compete in a major lightweight fight with future title implications on the card, as well. Ferguson weighed in at 155 pounds, and Cerrone came in at 155.5 (a pound allowance is given for non-title fights).

All the other fighters on the UFC 238 card made weight.
