What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft? I have the speed and strength that it takes to be a good running back/fullback in the NFL, and I have good film that showcases my running back abilities. I’m also a team player and will do what it takes to win.
Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?
This past season we had a game where there was 2 lightning delays which are very annoying when you’re ready to go, and we also had a really slow start against this team offensively. I ended up having my best game statistically and with the help of my O-line, I ended up rushing for almost 300 yards and we got the W. What are your hobbies outside of football?
My 2 favorites are disc golf, and catching reptiles (herpetology). I also like to hunt. What role do you see yourself playing at the next level? I can be a tailback or a fullback. Whichever one I have an opportunity at. If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to organizations that are fighting against child trafficking.
How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly? I’m very grateful for being coached/criticized, that way I’m able to know what I need to improve on and get better at. I would be more worried if I wasn’t being coached hard. Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Kaynan Harris
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why did you choose them?
Jesus, because he’s my lord and savior.
Waylon Jennings because he’s probably the greatest country music artist ever. Steve Erwin because he inspired one of my favorite hobbies.
If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason? I got bit by a venomous snake and my ability to run got worse.
Walk me through your typical pre-game routine? Eat a smaller meal 3 1/2ish hours before game time.
Go to the facility and get an IV. Eat a couple snacks and get some carbs in me before game time, stretch, and visualize before walking out with my teammates. What is your favorite snack food?
Apples and beef sticks
What scheme do you feel you fit the best in? I believe I could fit well in the Shanahan offense that the 49ers use. I think that I could compete as the tailback or the fullback in this wide-zone scheme.
What is your degree in? Kinesiology
What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check? A house for my wife and I.
Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back? In our first playoff season this past year, we were driving down the field and I fumbled and turned over the ball. The next drive I was given the ball about 7 times in a row, we drove down the field, and was able to Bioreports it in for a touchdown.
I was able to bounce back from a bad mistake. Name three songs, we can expect on your playlist? Probably any song by Lynyrd Skynyrd. NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport.
