Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Taras Stepanenko has claimed Roma “aren’t in their best moment right now” ahead of today’s Europa League draw.
Stepanenko was presented with the option of choosing a preferred opponent between his former teammate Fred at Manchester United or his former coach Paulo Fonseca at Roma
The 30-year-old picked the Giallorossi from Serie A over Man Utd, and claimed Fonseca’s men don’t look at their best.
“I choose Roma,” he told Tribuna. “Above all because the team today doesn’t seem to be in their best moment right now.”
