Nigerian midfielder John Obi Mikel spent quality time with his family after playing a part in Stoke City’s 2-0 win away at Luton City.

The former Super Eagles star was on the pitch all through the meeting at the Kenilworth Road Stadium earlier this weekend.

After the match, the Chelsea legend and one of his daughters hugged each other tight in what the 33-year-old described as the best hug ever.

The player shared a picture of himself with his babygirl with both of them wrapped in eachother’s arms. He posted on his official Instagram that:

“Best hug ever, best feeling ever, forever.”

Mikel has made six appearances for the Championship side since he joined them this summer with one assit credited to his name.

Bioreports earlier reported that Nigerian star John Obi Mikel bagged his first assist in the colours of Stoke City after inspiring them to a 1-0 victory over Preston North End at the Deepdale Stadium.

The former Super Eagles captain joined The Potters as a free agent last month on a one-year deal and the move has started to pay off for Michael O’Neill’s side.

Mikel who played all 90 minutes of the encounter sent in a low cross which was superbly converted by Lee Gregory in the 39th minute and saw them claim maximum points in the end.

The Chelsea legend has featured in all three games for his side since he joined them in August and he appears to be a key part of the team.
