Cesc Fabregas has revealed that he still considers Jose Mourinho as a friend but does not have anything to do with his childhood hero Pep Guardiola.
The Spanish legend who spent ten seasons with Arsenal after leaving Barcelona made comparisons between two of the best managers in the world.
Fabregas played under Mourinho during his second spell with Chelsea and played two seasons under Guardiola during his return to the Camp Nou.

The 33-year-old Monaco midfielder shared his experience between both managers on a Catalan radio programme Tot Costa:
“Jose was the person who inspired me most after leaving Barcelona.
“He said we had been rivals on the pitch but it finished there and he told me about his future plans
“I prioritised the professional side of things, and today we still write to each other and I consider him to be a friend who helped me a lot when I needed it most.”
As regards his childhood hero and current Man City boss Guardiola, Fabregas added:
“With Pep there’s nothing.
“There are things that happened which I don’t have to talk about.
“He was my idol when I was growing up and he’s perhaps the person I’ve learnt most from, as a player, as a fan and afterwards as a manager.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Javier Mascherano has finally hung his boots from football after his illustrious 17-year career across South America and Europe.
The Argentine defender enjoyed his most successful spell at club level with Barcelona where he won five La Liga titles and two Champions League crowns during his eight-year spell at Camp Nou.
Mascherano’s move to Europe had a shaky start after spending a short spell with West Ham and after helping the Hammers from relegation, he earned a move to Liverpool the following season.
