World Cup winner, Zinedine Zidane, has reportedly been given a four-game ultimatum for him and his wards at Real Madrid to improve their games so as not to get the axe.
This latest development is coming after Los Blancos suffered an embarrassing defeat against Shakhtar Donetsk in Group B game played on Tuesday night, November 1.
Real Madrid were beaten 2-0 in the tough Champions League game and they are now occupying third position in Group B in which their last game will determine their fate for the round of 16.
If Real Madrid should fail to get a win in their last game in their group, then the Spanish champions will be thrown into the Europa League.
According to the report on UK Sun, Zinedine Zidane is now having just four games for him to know his fate at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In the Spanish La Liga, Real Madrid have also not been impressive so far this season as they are sitting fourth on the League table and seven points behind leaders Real Sociedad.
After the defeat against Donetsk, Zinedine Zidane explained that he will not resign from his position with Los Blancos.
“I am not going to resign, not at all.
“We have always had delicate moments. It is true that it is a bad streak in terms of results, but we must continue.
“It is a difficult moment but I am convinced that we are going to bring out our character.”
Former Tottenham manager Pochettino is said to be the one Real Madrid chiefs are considering to appoint.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Minnows Shakhtar Donetsk completed a double on Real Madrid after stunning the Spanish giants 2-0 in their reverse Champions League tie played in Kiev on Tuesday evening, December 1.
Madrid were out in search of a big win away at Ukraine to increase their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 of the European competition.
