Tiro Media is looking for a versatile, passionate and diligent writer to work across a handful of established properties and exciting projects, leading with Football Italia.
This role offers variety, challenge and the opportunity to progress in the field of football and sports writing, primarily with a role on Football Italia’s news team, which includes the possibility to branch into editorial responsibilities. The position also involves timetabled work on other projects under the Tiro Media umbrella, including but not limited to European football magazine feature writing, sports betting preview writing and SEO-orientated copywriting.
The successful candidate must be able to write in English to a high standard, read and understand Italian fluently and have extensive knowledge of football – not only on Serie A and the Premier League but around the world.
Candidates with knowledge of other sports, understanding of other languages, and experience in news writing, news gathering and CMS will have an advantage in the process.
Please note that this is a freelance position with pay and hours on application. Candidates who can work to BST/GMT shifts will be preferred.
