Daniel Amartey who currently plays for Leicester City in the Premier League could be landing himself in some trouble after being caught throwing Chelsea’s pennant on the floor.
This happened after his side defeated the Stamford Bridge landlords in the final of the 2020/21 FA Cup which was played at the Wembley Stadium.
Club pennants are traditionally swapped before a game to mark the occasions while they are kept as souvenirs to remember the event.
Win over Chelsea was an historical one for Leicester City considering the fact that the Foxes have never won the title before in their history.
And after all the players got their medals, they all walked into the dressing rooms where Leicester City stars continued their celebration.
According to the report on Daily Mail, Daniel Amartey was spotted in the dressing room throwing Chelsea’s pennant on the floor which made many Blues’ fans angry.
Although the Ghana international has played 17 games in all competitions this season for Leicester City, but he was an unused sub in the FA Cup final.
However, Football Daily are reporting that Leicester City have tendered an apology to Chelsea for what their player Daniel did and the Blues have accepted.
Meanwhile, Chelsea stars will now be shifting their full concentration to the Champions League final where they will face Manchester City in what is expected to be a tough game.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how two Nigerian nationals Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi who play for Leicester City football club made their team members dance to Dr Sid’s song Over The Moon released in 2010.
An elated Sid who spotted the video published it on his verified Instagram page while congratulating the Nigerian football players in the team.
The singer shared the video of Ndidi going live on social media while his teammates and managers sing and dance excitedly to the song.
The happiness of the Leicester City team is expected as a jinx of 52 years was broken as the club won its first English FA cup. The club hasn’t been in the FA Cup final for 52 years.
