Nigeria’s Flamingos have been drawn in Group B ahead of the U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup billed to be staged in India.
Also in the group are; Germany, Chile and New Zealand.
The draw ceremony took place at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland on Friday.
The Flamingos, who didn’t concede a single goal in the qualifiers, are making a return to the competition after missing out the last time in 2018.
The biennial competition will run from 11th to 30th October in three India cities: Margao, Navi Mumbai and Bhubaneswar.
India were scheduled to host the competition in 2020, but it was postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
It will be the second time that India hosts a FIFA tournament after the men’s 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and the first time that India hosts a FIFA women’s football tournament.
