It is indeed a period of celebration for two serving members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who recently got the opportunity to exchange their marital vows in Kogi state.

According to reports by Choice TV Online, the couple met while they were both at the orientation camp in Fanisau-Dutse, Jigawa state, where they were initially posted to serve their fatherland.

Luckily for them, they fell in love with each other and things got so serious up to the point of them making the decision to spend the rest of their lives together.

The new couple was joined by the marriage registrar for the Ijumu local government area in Kogi state, Barrister Taiwo Ojo, in front of close family members, friends and other well-wishers who came to witness their love story.

Ojo while handing out the marriage certificate to the couple advised them to allow genuine love, trust and peaceful coexistence be the guiding principle of their new union.

The groom Oluwasegun has a degree in mass communication and hails from Idofin Are-Kole, Oke-Ero local government area of Kwara state while his bride, Oluwaferanmi, who has a degree in business administration hails from Ekinrin-Adde in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state.

Oluwasegun’s father, David Fabiyi, wished the newlyweds a peaceful and fruitful union while the bride’s mum, Lydia Daramola, wished the couple long life and successful marriage.
