A man identified as Mayegun Olaoye, has shown up after many years to claim paternity over the daughter of popular gospel musician, Top Alabi.
In a report and chat screenshots by Gistlovers blog, the man who is an auto dealer said he is very sad that Tope has not allowed him to see their daughter, Ayomikun for years.
It should be noted that Ayomikun has been calliing, Soji, who is officially Tope’s husband, her father.
In some WhatsApp chat screenshots, the auto dealer said:
“Getting in touch in respect of Tope Alabi. I’m the father of her first child.”
He went ahead to say that the singer used to be his live-in lover from 1996 before she got pregnant in 1997.
He added that the daughter was given birth to on the May 7th, 1998. Olaoye said known Yoruba movie marketers and actors were in attendance at the child’s naming ceremony.
The auto dealer said they were together for a year after that before they got separated, putting the blame on the singer’s “misdeamenour” of changing their daughter’s surname.
Ayomikun Alabi recently posted a photo of her and Soji Alabi, the man she calls dad, saying:
“Love of my life. Father like no other, I love you pah.”
A check at Olaoye’s profile page shows he has been making the claim for years now. In a post as far back as May 18, 2018, the man rejoiced with Ayomikun as she clocked 20, mentioning the hospital where she was birthed.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Congratulations were in order for gospel singer Tope Alabi’s daughter Ayomiku as she graduated from Bowen University.
The young lady graduated with a second class upper division from the music department and convocated with her pairs on Saturday, November 7.
Ayomiku excitedly took to her official Instagram page to share the news with her friends and followers.
