Rappers Lil Durk and Lil Baby claim the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with their joint collection The Voice of the Heroes, which opens in first place on the weekly tally of the most-consumed full-lengths in the U.S. The title launches atop the ranking thanks largely to impressive streaming figures, as 144,000 of the set’s 150,000 equivalent units came from streams.

Tomorrow X Together hit a new high on the Billboard 200 this week with their new project The Chaos Chapter: Freeze kicks off at No. 5. This marks their first visit to the top 10, and it easily outpaces their previous peak of No. 25. The all-male vocal band’s latest release starts off with 43,000 equivalent copies, with 39,000 of those being pure purchases. That’s enough for the title to launch at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart, which means it’s the bestselling studio effort in the U.S. this week.

Amazingly, while these are still early days for musical acts from South Korea scoring No. 1s on the Top Album Sales chart, Tomorrow X Together is one of just a handful of groups from that part of the world who have landed the bestselling title in the U.S. more than once.

Tomorrow X Together first reached the summit on the Top Album Sales ranking a little more than six months ago. Back in November of 2020, the band’s Minisode1: Blue Hour hit No. 1, standing out as the bestselling release of that frame.

BTS currently lead the way among all South Korean musical acts who have climbed to No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. The septet was the first to rise to the summit, which they accomplished back in 2018, and they have racked up the most champions thus far among their countrymen. So far, the seven-member group has sent five different releases to No. 1, and that sum is sure to improve at some point in the coming months.

With a second No. 1 to their credit, Tomorrow X Together is tied with fellow South Korean boy bands SuperM and NCT 127 for the second-most leaders, as they have all pushed a pair of titles to the peak. Only one other musical act from the Asian nation, Blackpink, has managed to score a No. 1 bestseller on the Top Album Sales chart.
