A Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @OsitaAmakeze on Wednesday, December 2, showcased the monstrous yam that was harvested in Agulu, Anambra state.

He said that the type of yam is what they call “ofu ji a na-eme offload”. The yam has received some interesting interactions on Twitter.

It should be noted that his latest tweet was a follow-up on the one he made in 2019. Last year, he wrote about how his friend’s yam weighed 153.10 and was the heaviest in his community.

See his post below:

Below were some of the reactions his post got:

@Izuchuxy asked:

“So what’s the secret? Yam species, farming style or onataluchi? How many people helped to unearth it? Is this still a tuber or Yam stump?”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that sometimes, people succeed in other fields different from what they studied in school. For Eke William Chibuzor, a Nigerian graduate, farming is the real deal.

Eke is a double degree holder: graduated from Federal Polytechnic Nekede where he studied business administration and management at both OND and HND levels and also read business management at Imo State University in 2016.

The native of Umuike Eziala, Umuohiagu/Ngor Okpala in Imo state recently took to social media to showcase his large cucumber plantation.

He recounted how he was discouraged by friends and some family members when he initially nursed the idea of venturing into farming as a graduate, but today they are marvelled by his eventual success in it.
