Mason Greenwood has been reportedly issued a warning by Man United Ole Gunnar Solskjaer due to his attitude to training, Daily Star.

The England striker has been left out of two matches for the Red Devils by the Norwegian boss claiming he has a niggling problem.

However, it is understood that the teenager was left out of United’s trip to Paris Saint-Germain due to his lateness in training which has made Solskjaer angry, The Sun claim.

And reports claim Solskjaer had already warned his young star about his conduct following his expulsion from the England squad from their camp in Iceland last month.

Greenwood and Man City’s Phil were sent off for sneaking two Icelandic models into the team hotel base.

The Englishman’s form has dropped this season and SunSport claim Solskjaer has grown sick of his work ethic so far this campaign.

The Norwegian boss played down Greenwood of not being involved in the wins against Newcastle and PSG in the last few days.

When asked about Greenwood’s absence the Man United boss responded:

“I can’t declare medical stuff, can I?”

“It’s just a niggle and, as young as he is. Hopefully at the weekend he’ll be fine again.”

United will face another stern test against Chelsea in a Premier League fixture at Old Trafford at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed Scott McTominay played with one eye through the first half of their 2-1 Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain.

The Scotsman was solid for United during the highly contested match, managing to silence former teammate Ander Herrera and Idrissa Gueye in the midfield.

However, it has emerged the young midfielder had to do it with a severely affected vision after he lost his contact lens.

Legit.ng also reported that Bruno Fernandes for the first time missed his spot-kick for Man United and the Portuguese star has congratulated Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow for his heroics, The Sun.

Man United defeated Newcastle by 4-1 at Saint James’ Park but the midfielder had his 11th effort from a penalty saved by the Welsh shot-stopper.

Fernandes has scored all of his ten spot-kicks for the Red Devils since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon in January 2019.
