New Milan signing Theo Hernandez needs further tests after he was diagnosed with an ankle injury.
The former Real Madrid full-back sprained his right ankle during an International Champions Cup defeat to Bayern Munich.
Although X-Rays ruled out fractures, a statement from the club this evening confirmed the presence of a lesion where the ligament meets the ankle.
He will require more tests in approximately two weeks’ time and it looks as if his pre-season is already over.
“Today, AC Milan defender Theo Hernández underwent a scan to his right ankle following the injury suffered during the match against FC Bayern in the ICC tournament.
“The examinations have revealed a capsule-ligament injury. The player will undergo more tests in two weeks time.”
