A Nigerian man identified as Oluwaseun Raphael Afolayan has lost his 87-year-old number one supporter to the deadly coronavirus.

Sharing a photo of the octogenarian on his Twitter page, Oluwaseun wrote:

“I just lost my number 1 supporter to Covid. I know I’m supposed to take comfort in the fact that she’s resting at 86, but somehow that doesn’t do it anymore. I’m going insane.”

Nigerians on social media took to the comment section of the post to console Oluwaseun.

In a previous report by Legit.ng, Shaka Momoh, the owner of Planet One, a hotel and event centre in Maryland, Lagos, died of the deadly coronavirus.

News of his demise came to public knowledge after Nigerians took to Twitter to pay tributes to the deceased.

He was said to have died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) on Thursday, January 14.
