Atalanta’s debut Champions League game at San Siro against Shakhtar Donetsk will be officiated by German Tobias Stieler.
The assistant referees are Mike Pickel, Christian Gittelmann and fourth official Marco Fritz.
The VAR is also German, Bastian Dankert assisted by Sascha Stegemann.
It is the first time Stieler has worked on an Atalanta game, but he does have a good general history with Italian club sides.
He officiated two Roma victories, one success for Juventus and Inter’s 1-0 win over Rapid Vienna last season.
The only defeat saw Juve capitulate to Young Boys in the Champions League group phase last term, once qualification had already been secured.
Atalanta are playing their Champions League home games at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan, as their new-look Gewiss Stadium is still undergoing reconstruction work.
This fixture kicks off on Tuesday at 17.55 UK time (16.55 GMT) and follows on from Atalanta’s 4-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb.
