If you are unable to send a snap in Snapchat, you are not the only one.

The social app is currently down in parts of the US, Europe and Australia for tens of thousands of users who are unable to send snaps or log in to the app.

The outage appears to have started around 10 AM ET and  Snapchat says it is working to bring it back online.

‘We’re aware many Snapchatters are having trouble using the app,’ the app wrote on Twitter. ‘Hang tight – we’re looking into it.’ 

Snapchat is down in parts of the US and Europe leaving tens of thousands of users unable to share snaps. The social media firm says it is aware of the issue and is working to fix the problem

Downdector had a surge in reports this morning with 81 percent saying they cannot send snaps and 18 percent are not receiving them or are unable to refresh.

Most of the issues seem to be clustered on the east coast of the US and parts of Europe.

The outage has also sparked a panic on Twitter, as users are sharing their frustrations of not being able to communicate with friends all while being locked down due to the coronavirus.

‘The virus is one thing.. but now Snapchat is down. I hate it here,’ one users wrote in a Tweet.
