Nigerian singer, Emma Nyra, has joined conversations on the current unrest in Nigeria. Following reports of jailbreaks and attempt prison escaped in Lagos today, October 22.

In a recent tweet shared to her personal Twitter page, the former Triple MG artiste stated that every single citizen of Nigeria is a victim of circumstances beyond their control.

She went on to add that some of the prisoners who escaped may have been innocent people. According to her, many criminals are what they are because they didn’t get a fair chance at life.

She wrote:

“Even the prisoners that are escaping, some are victims of wrongful arrests. Every single citizen of Nigeria is a victim of circumstances beyond their control. Many criminals would not have chosen that lifestyle if they had a fair chance at life. Nigeria jaga jaga indeed #endsars”

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer, songwriter and author, Olawale Ashimi better known as Brymo, recently got into it with some followers on Twitter.

Following the unrest and reports of casualties across the country due to the ongoing #EndSARS protest, the singer took to Twitter to share a message about Nigeria being great again.

In other news, Nigerians reality star, Gifty Powers, has taken to social media to apologize to her fans and followers following a post she shared on her Instagram page in which she criticized #EndSARS protests.

The 2017 BBNaija star mocked the protesters who were now staying at home seeing that things had gone south. She asked why they didn’t go out to keep protesting.

The mother of one has now come out to apologize for the ‘stupid post’. In a writeup shared to her Instagram page, she explained that she only meant well and was concerned about everyone’s safety.
