Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly on the verge of making a return to Italian giants Juventus where he is expected to replace current handler of the Old Lady Andrea Pirlo.

During his first stint at Juventus from 2014-2019, Allegri won the Italian Serie A title five times which remains a big record for him in Italy.

According to the report on Daily Mail, Allegri and Juventus chiefs have had verbal agreement and official announcement will be made in the next 24 hours.

Crucial to Allegri’s decision was the assurance that sporting director Fabio Paratici would leave the club this summer.

Transfer Live also reported that Massimiliano Allegri will agree a four-year contract with Juventus for him to make a return to the Old Lady.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are also said to be interested in hiring Allegri following the exit of Antonio Conte who left after misunderstanding between him and the management.
