President Donald Trump made a terrific Twitter blunder when he mistakenly mentioned a Leeds United fan in his tweet purportedly criticising Fox News, and supporters of the Premier League club have reacted in hysterical fashion.

The 45th president of the United States blasted the medium for having an interview session with Pete Buttigieg, mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

Trump is famous for calling Buttigieg as ‘Alfred E. Neuman’ due to his supposed physical resemblance to the Mad Magazine character.

In his tweet, the president gaffed by erroneously tagging a Leeds United fan who has the same name resemblance on Twitter.

It was gathered that the user who is yet to public address the ‘mention’ admits in the biography on the site that he is a ‘lifelong Leeds United fan’, with other interests confirmed as ‘music, boxing and bike racing’.

In a swift, supporters hilariously reacted to the blunder and took a swipe on Donald Trump for attempting to rip the club’s fanbase apart.

@LufcFelix: “In one of Donald Trump’s tweets, we are genuinely massive.”

@jimimanovsteel: “Good job this #lufc fan is protected… Or his phone would be melting. Donald Trump thinks he’s a mayor in the US.”

@Tom_Hinchcliffe: “Leeds United are arguing with Donald Trump on Twitter. We can stop the simulation now.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s hope of overturning the victory of Joe Biden has suffered a huge setback as Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, a law firm representing the embattled president and his campaign in Pennsylvania, withdrew its legal service.

Trump has failed to concede defeat to his Democratic challenger after the 77-yer-old former vice president crossed the 270- threshold required for the presidency during the Tuesday, November 3 election in the US.

On Thursday, November 12, the law firm withdrew from a case filed on behalf of President Trump’s campaign, with the decision coming three days after the lawsuit was filed.

However, Legit.ng earlier reported that he seems to have accepted the hard fact that he would not be the president of the United States of America in the next administration.

This followed days of denial over election results from reputable media outlets which projected former vice president Joe Biden of the Democratic Party as the winner of the November 3 presidential election in the country.
