Nigerian soccer fraternities have been thrown into another deep mourning following the shocking demise of Adamawa state Football Association Musa Duhu.

According to the report gathered, Musa Duhu was confirmed dead on Saturday evening, September 19, at an unnamed hospital in Yola.

Before his death, the Musa Duhu was also a member of the Nigerian Football Federation executive committee.

The 55-year-old has been in charge of the Football Association in Adamawa for the past five years and his death is a big loss to all the football families in Nigeria.

NFF Executive Committee Member and Chairman Borno FA, Alhaji Babagana Kalli, described Duhu’s death as a rude shock.

“I’m short of words. I spoke with him two days ago and he told me he’s getting better. His death came as a big shock to me, the NFF and the football fraternity.

“We can only pray fervently for the repose of his soul.

”We pray that God grants his immediate and extended family, the Adamawa State Football Association and the generality of the people of Adamawa State, as well as the NFF Congress the fortitude to bear the loss,” Babagana told Buwanews.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Nigerian football fraternities were thrown into deep mourning on Tuesday, May 5, following the untimely death of ex Enugu state Football Association chairman Chidi Ofor Okenwa.

Kwara state FA chairman Mallam Idris Musa confirmed the demise of his colleague.

Before his death, Chidi Ofor Okenwa, 50, was also the chairman of the Nigerian National League which is the second tie football in the country.

”With deep regret I announced the death of one of us who was the chairman of Enugu state FA Chidi Ofor who passed away,” NFF announced.
