Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal in Juventus’ 3-1 win over Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League on Wednesday night, December 2, takes his professional goals tally to 750 for club and country.

The Portuguese sensation reached the landmark when he tapped home from less than a yard out to also make it 71 goals in the Champions League.

CR7 is now on the verge of shattering the all-time record held by late Austrian and Czech footballer Josep Biscan who scored a staggering 759 goals during his career.

In second place on the all-time professional goal scorer’s chart is Brazilian legend Pele who had a staggering 757 goals during his playing days.

With just 9 goals to equal Biscan’s record, Ronaldo stated that he is already gunning for 800 professional goals.

He wrote after the game against Dynamo Kyiv:

“750 goals, 750 happy moments, 750 smiles in the faces of our supporters.

“Thank you to all the players and coaches that helped me reach this amazing number, thank you to all my loyal opponents that made me work harder and harder everyday.

“But above all, thanks to my wonderful family, always present in my best and worst moments. Next stop: 800 goals! Let’s go!”

Also, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker has now scored 71 home goals in the competition, overtaking arch rival Lionel Messi who has 70.

The 35-year-old seems unstoppable and will do everything to reach the unprecedented number before the season ends.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Neymar made a huge call right after inspiring French champions Paris Saint-Germain to a 3-1 win over Manchester United in the Champions League when he said he wants to reunite with Lionel Messi.

The Brazilian superstar had left Barcelona to the Ligue 1 side in 2017 with many claiming he wanted to leave the ‘shadow’ of Messi in his quest to winning the coveted Ballon d’Or.

Neymar has been heavily linked with a return to the Spanish club, but with Messi already in the final year of his contract, his future remains doubtful.
