Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli was involved in a car crash that left two people in need of hospital treatment, claim reports.
According to Rome-based Il Tempo newspaper, the incident occurred on Monday on the outskirts of the Capital.
Romagnoli is from Anzio and was travelling to visit family in his hometown when he lost control of the Smart car at high speed.
His vehicle allegedly crashed into a Doblò, which was then catapulted against a cement barrier and the guardrail.
The two passengers in the other car were taken to hospital for treatment, including 10 stitches, bruises and head trauma.
