Princess Stéphanie of Monaco’s son, Louis Ducruet, wed twice this weekend – once with a civil ceremony on Friday and for the second time in a more elaborate affair at Monaco’s cathedral on Saturday.

Louis, 26, who is also the grandson of Grace Kelly, wed his college sweetheart Marie Chevallier, in the civil ceremony on Friday, with the bride in a simple ivory jumpsuit and her hair swept back in a pretty clip.

The couple were married by Monaco’s mayor George Marsan and they then had an informal garden reception in the Prince’s Palace. 

Marie’s dress designer Rosa Clara shared a picture of the happy couple on their Instagram yesterday – showing off her beautiful jumpsuit.

The couple went on to have a more lavish affair on Saturday – marrying at Monaco’s Cathedral with a religious ceremony.

At the second ceremony, which took place yesterday, the bride arrived in an open top Rolls-Royce decorated with pink and white flowers. 

She was seen crying as she arrived, with a white veil hanging from her brunette locks. While, according to local newspaper Nice Matin Louis’s mother Princess Stephanie, who arrived with her son, was emotional too.

The ceremony was said to be witnesses by just close friends and family. While a picture outside of the venue also showed her long wedding dress train and her bridesmaids in a dusty rose colour.

The brides dress for the Saturday ceremony was created by Atelier Boisanger the dress was made of Zagar and Chantilly Lace, while according to their designers the dress also took 300 hours of delicate embroideries .

The second ceremony saw the bride in a more traditional dress, with lacing over the chest and full skirt. Her new husband also wore a grey morning suit

Louis and his bride looked happy as they walked down the aisle in the cathedral and confetti was thrown on them.   

On Friday she had gone for a less lavish look in an jumpsuit with an embroidered lace design, which went around the waist, and also featured an open back.

Marie’s designer Rosa Claran shared a picture of the jumpsuit she wore on Friday and said: ‘First of all we would like to congratulate Marie Chevallier and Louis Ducruet, a charming and beautiful couple, we wish you all the best!
